  • Satisfied. I find most Japanese food to be salty (especially food with soup), but I liked the ramen here because it wasn't overly salty. The broth had a deep flavor and the noodles seemed to be fresh noodles rather than regular ramen noodles, which was good for me. If you like vegetables, I recommend adding bean sprout topping for 200 yen. Since the amount of bean sprouts is quite large, I think it would be okay for 2 people to share. There are large and regular portions of ramen, but for adults who don't eat a lot, the regular portion wasn't enough. Maybe it's because I added bean sprouts. Local men tend to order large sizes and women tend to order regular sizes. There were a lot of students there, probably because there was a school nearby, and many of them ate large size. It was a bit different from typical Japanese ramen, but overall it was a satisfying meal. However, I thought it would be nice if the ordering machine had English at least for the 4 types of ramen. Because it was not a common term, it was difficult to easily understand the meaning even using a translator.

  • The ramen is light but filling. The flavor is amazing and the best I’ve had.

  • This ramen shop was recommended by locals and the nondescript shop didn’t disappoint. It couldn’t get any more local, based on the simple, dated deco, and number of local diners. The boss was a strapping man but his demeanour belies a kind and friendly gentleman. Despite busily cooking the ramen, he paused and came out of the kitchen to help us with our order when he saw us struggling with the menu. We ordered the large bowl (JPY1020) and were floored by the amount of char siew, bean sprouts and spring onion. The pork broth was rich but not overpowering/coy, as one would find in other joints. The char siew was also well cooked and had the right amount of fat. Hope the shop continues to dish out bowls of affordable honest-to-goodness ramen to the community for many decades to come.

  • Amazing Ramen and super friendly staff. The noodles had the right texture and the soup was well balanced. The garlic add on on the table was also a good plus to it. Would love to come again :)
